Heroes are weak substitutes for absent fathers.

This year, instead of just material possessions, it may behoove some of us to think of those less fortunate. Oxfam International (http://www.oxfamunwrapped.com/Default.aspx
)offers aid to people we will never meet, but desperately need all the help they can get. Prices are in British ponds, so gifts range from $10 and higher. Below are some examples of gifts. Purchase a gift in the name of a loved one, and for a moment, remember what the true meaning of the season is. Sweaters, jewelry, and CDs are nice, but this is an extraordinary gift.
School dinners for 100 children $12
Plant 25 trees for $16
Make drinking water safe for 25 people
Build toilets (around $60)
2 textbooks for students -$10http://www.oxfamunwrapped.com/Default.aspx
(front & back as received in envelope)
Danny Tarling, so much was left to figure out when you never came back that night. Having you as a vibrant flash in my life was inspiration for more than most will know. Thank you for allowing me to know you, and to love you.

DAMMIT!!! I know better than to go on petfinder.com, but I just can't help myself!!! People are such ASSHOLES to animals. Tell me why it isn't a crime to neglect an animal..well I know it is, but the punishment should be more severe than a fine dammit! People leaving these precious, sweet, trusting little animals in boxes or crates or oustide somewhere to die?!? My little heart can't take any more of this insanity. They are so terrified, so alone, so desperate for love...IF YOU HAVE ROOM IN YOUR HOME FOR A CREATURE THAT ADORES YOU no matter what you look like, how you smell, what your job is, how much money you make, what religion you are or aren't, what music you listen to, your stance on abortion, or ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN YOU LOVE IT BACK...THEN PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go to petfinder.com or your local animal shelter and save a life. Dedicate yourself to saving one tiny, miserable soul in your lifetime...commit yourself to a little life, a small heart that will swell for you at each sighting, a teeny brain that will recognize you as the one saving grace in its abused, neglected, horribly mistreated life.

I just ate SO MUCH Chinese food that I feel like Peter in that episode of Family Guy when he eats all the dehydrated food after the "end of the world" and then drinks a glass of water and B L O W S U P to a giant Peter-balloon. It was goooood.
I'm so angry about these online classes I'm taking this semester...They're a SHAM!!! A DAMN SHAM I TELLS YA! I'm sorry, I'm all for higher education, and certainly for it being available to everyone, but these online classes with their stupid little web reports and their lame little "open book quizzes" are just L O W E R I N G THE S T A N D A R D S!!!! Can't anyone see that?! College is SUPPOSED TO BE CHALLENGING!! Not like middle school social studies were you read the chapter, do the review, take the quiz. You are SUPPOSED to flex the grey matter between your ears, find reams of information and sift through it, articulating your soul's perception and opinions...challenge your own reality, examine your ideals and identify your weaknesses....Not this Mickey Mouse bullpoop "Let us hold your hand and walk the widdwe toddler down the path of super-simple degree" because THAT is what keeps people like the average American citizen IGNORANT of critical thinking and electing FUCKTARDS LIKE BUSH FOR ANOTHER TERM!!!! We are doing ourselves a great injustice by lowering the standards, making it easier to "slide by" and for people to get degrees without really having to think!!!! I don't want to be competing with some stupid bastard for a job when said stupid bastard shouldn't have made it through school AT ALL....I don't want to be cared for by IDIOTS when I'm sick and in the hospital or getting my taxes done....Any yahoo with a degree can do either of those jobs...and degrees are getting EASIER TO COME BY WITH THIS BS ONLINE CIRCUS THEY CALL "education." I have to go break something.

Temporary shift back into the world of typing out my life in random increments that no one really has time to read.... I got a new job at Nielsen Media, in the scheduling department. That means....computer at work!!! Which means more frequent updates!!!
On the personal front, life is crap. Serious inter-familial drama can really take it out of you. Especially when family members start recruiting lawyers and contacting investivagitve agencies in preparation for a "blood ties only" world war. Woo. It'll be a bumpy ride coming up soon. On a lighter note, I may be getting a (in your best Rod Roddy voice) braaaand neeew caaaar!! That I'll pay for of course...but brand new all the same. Anyone have any suggestions/comments/screams of warning for or against any particular vehicles?

So I never saw any of my peeps (save Word) during the VA trip. I never knoew such fun could be had in the mountains of VA. Take a couple kids from LA, a little bar in Winchester, and add some booze, you'd have thought Puff Daddy threw the party. Awesome. Corrinne, my friend Joel is down to move to Portland when we say "go." I still think we should reconsider California, though. CALL ME. And Kate.... I have balls. I swear. No one else reads this. And if they do, they should comment. On this: my new picture.
ps. I <3 myspace. Even though Casey thinks it's queer. ESPECIALLY because Casey thinks it's queer.
